Hi, It’s lovely to meet you!

I’m Sarah and I’m the designer and printer round here. Alongside my wonderful antique print press, Maude, I spend my days swooning over fonts, getting excited about paper, and obsessing over showstopping letterpress stationery.

What to expect when you work with Sarah and Maude

A personal approach

The most important part of the process is you. Whether you’re planning your wedding or printing your very first business cards, I’ve been where you are and I know it can feel overwhelming. I want you to enjoy the process and have the time you need to make the right decisions, so I work with you, at your pace.

Truly handcrafted

Letterpress and hot foil are traditional artisanal processes, so printing with Maude and Martha is slow and meticulous. Each piece of stationery is printed one at a time, with paper fed into the press by hand, piece by piece, and each colour printed separately. It’s a definite labour of love – and the results are so rewarding.

A touch of luxury

Because your stationery is designed and printed in my Derbyshire studio, I can tailor every detail to perfection. From the tactile impression of letterpress, to the subtle shimmer of metallic foil, and an endless choice of finishing touches, your stationery will have a luxury finish that you won’t be able to resist running your fingers over.
