Crisp and minimal: Business cards and stationery for a sustainable jewellery brand
Brand stationery
Emily Lisbeth Jewellery is a sustainable jewellery brand run by Emily Fletcher. Known for her eco-conscious approach, Emily uses only recycled silver and gold, along with responsibly sourced gemstones in her jewellery.
The brief
After years of using a high street printer for her business cards, Emily felt ready to invest in stationery that better reflected the quality and craftsmanship behind her jewellery. She wanted business cards that would feel aligned with her contemporary style, while reflecting the eco-conscious values at the heart of her brand.
The results
The finished stationery feels like a natural extension of Emily’s jewellery brand — understated, tactile and thoughtfully considered.
Crisp black text sits against soft cotton paper, with a subtle blind debossing of Emily’s logo mark adding texture and detail without overpowering the minimal design.
To reflect Emily’s eco-conscious values, the business cards were printed on tree-free cotton paper made from a textile industry by-product. Later additions, including jewellery care cards and presentation cards, were printed on the same sustainable paper stock, while thank you cards were printed on plantable seed paper.
Why this approach
Blind debossing was the perfect fit for Emily's minimal aesthetic — it adds tactile detail and craftsmanship without any ink, letting the paper stock itself do the talking. Pairing that with tree-free cotton paper and plantable seed paper meant every touchpoint of the stationery suite reflected the sustainability values at the core of her jewellery brand, not just the product itself.

I saw Sarah recommended on instagram and fell in love with the letterpress style. Working with Sarah was so easy! At our initial meeting I gave a brief of what I was after and got some beautiful proofs. They were all so good it was hard to decide, and after a few tweaks they were ready. I’d absolutely recommend working with Sarah and Maude!
