At the start of each year, I choose a word to guide the months ahead. This year it’s tending — a quiet companion for nurturing what already exists. I printed it on a small postcard, and as I set it aside, I realised it would likely be the last piece I print in my home studio before we move.

As December winds down, the pressure to share highlights and successes can feel overwhelming. This is a gentle reminder that the 31st of December is just another day—and that leaving the year quietly is enough.
