Sustainable letterpress packaging for an ethical jewellery studio

Charlotte Berry is an award-winning jeweller with ethics, sustainability at the heart of her work. Specialising in the ancient methods of lost wax and sand casting, she creates modern heirloom jewellery from her South Oxfordshire workshop.
The brief
As a Fair Trade Foundation registered goldsmith, sustainability plays a huge role throughout Charlotte’s entire creative process, from materials and manufacturing to packaging and stationery. She approached me to create sustainable branded earring cards to sit inside her eco-friendly jewellery boxes.
The results
Inspired by environmentally conscious approach Charlotte takes, the cards were letterpress printed onto a 100% recycled kraft paper stock using transparent white ink. This gave a subtle hint of Charlotte’s branding, and most importantly meant the cards were sustainable and fully recyclable.
